De Vlaamse Waterweg nv manages and exploits the waterways as a powerful network that contributes to the economy, prosperity and quality of life in Flanders. De Vlaamse Waterweg nv strengthens transport via inland shipping, ensures water management and increases the attractiveness of the waterways for recreation, tourism and nature experience. From the registered office in Hasselt and departments in Willebroek, Brussels, Antwerp, Merelbeke and Mol, approximately 1,350 employees of the organization work on a smart, versatile and prosperous waterway network.

For the biennial award, stakeholders are recognized for their exceptional contribution and collaboration. For this special occasion they asked Roel to design a special trophy.
